Southampton is well served by large national advice firms, and by banks offering restricted panels. What is harder to find is a small practice that can search the whole market and has no incentive to point you anywhere in particular.
Why the whole-of-market distinction matters
A restricted adviser can only recommend from an approved list. We are Whole of Market Chartered Independent Financial Advisers, which means we search the entire market, and we are not financially incentivised to recommend particular products or providers. In practice the most useful thing an independent adviser can tell you is sometimes that your existing arrangement is fine as it is.
What we advise on
Pensions and SIPPs, retirement planning, ISAs and investments, life insurance and protection, and estate and inheritance tax planning. We also work with company directors and business owners, where personal and business finances are really one conversation.
Where we meet
Our office is at 6 Merlin Mews, Houchin Street, Bishop’s Waltham — a straightforward drive from Southampton and considerably easier to park at than the city centre. We also have an office at 3 Park Court, West Byfleet, if Surrey is more convenient.
The first appointment is free and carries no obligation. Call 01489 667727.
The value of your investment, and the income from it, can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount you invested. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
