Independent Financial Adviser
Tim began his career in 2002 with a firm of stockbrokers in Farnham. After joining a well-established firm of financial advisers in 2007, he has developed a passion for helping people to understand money, plan for the future and achieve their goals.
Over the years, Tim has found that there is room for financial advisers to do a great deal more for their clients. He believes that doing the best job involves truly understanding a person and what they want out of life, then helping them to achieve that. As a result, whilst he has a detailed technical understanding of financial products and services, he prefers to focus his attention on what your money is for and, ultimately, whether you are going to have enough to do all you want, both now and in later life.
A divorce and long term care specialist
Tim has also done a substantial amount of work with people going through divorce and is an associate member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way. He is also qualified to provide advice to people in relation to funding long term care.
Tim grew up nearby in Alresford and now lives in Guildford, splitting his time between Surrey and Hampshire. He is a keen climber, enjoys football, cycling and spending the rest of his spare time with friends and family.
Specialist Protection Adviser
Richard completed a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Manchester before undertaking his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the Chartered Institute of Insurance. He is working toward Chartered status, hoping to achieve this by Autumn 2019.
In recent years, Richard has identified a real need for strategic business and personal insurance to meet the growing ‘Protection Gap’ in the UK. Keeping pace with the latest developments and the increasing variables involved with levels, type of cover and the underwriting procedures, he strives to find the best fit tailored to his clients.
Helen started her career in civil engineering which she enjoyed immensely.
